SIAM

Service Integration and Management (SIAM) is an approach to managing multiple suppliers of services (business services as well as information technology services) and integrating them to provide a single business-facing IT organization. It aims at seamlessly integrating interdependent services from various internal and external service providers into end-to-end services in order to meet business requirements.

Scrum

Scrum is a framework within which teams can continuously improve their approach. Of all Agile frameworks, Scrum is by far the most popular, which is why the terms Scrum and Agile are often mistakenly seen as synonymous. Scrum is Agile because it focuses on added value, has an iterative design and is based on empiricism. Characteristic of Scrum is that it divides major issues into small projects of a fixed length. Such a project is called a Sprint in Scrum. Scrum is a term that comes from rugby sport. In a scrum, both rugby teams put their heads together. In the Scrum framework you also put your heads together on a daily basis. That is called the Daily Scrum.

Scrum is often used for software or products of which the customer or user does not yet know what he wants and where people learn by doing to better describe the requirements and wishes and convert them into usable software or products. Often people only know what they want when they see the prototype and then the requirements are adjusted. Scrum has the flexibility to deal with late-changing requirements and wishes. Scrum falls under the agile software development.

Prince2

PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured project management method based on best practices for managing projects effectively. It divides projects into manageable stages, defines clear roles and responsibilities, and focuses on business justification, risk management, and quality control.

Widely used across public and private sectors, PRINCE2 is scalable and adaptable to different project types and sizes. Certification is available at Foundation and Practitioner levels.

ITIL

The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a set of detailed practices for IT activities such as IT service management (ITSM) and IT asset management (ITAM) that focus on aligning IT services with the needs of business.

ITIL describes processes, procedures, tasks, and checklists which are neither organization-specific nor technology-specific, but can be applied by an organization toward strategy, delivering value, and maintaining a minimum level of competency. It allows the organization to establish a baseline from which it can plan, implement, and measure. It is used to demonstrate compliance and to measure improvement. There is no formal independent third-party compliance assessment available for ITIL compliance in an organization.

ISO 27000

ISO 27000 refers to a family of international standards for information security management developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). These standards provide best practices for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

ISO 27001 is the most well-known standard in this series, focusing on the requirements for an ISMS. Other standards like ISO 27002 and ISO 27005 provide detailed guidelines for controls and risk management.

IPMA

The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is a Swiss-based, international organization for the promotion of project management.

IPMA has developed a project management method under the same abbreviation (IPMA). You can be certified for this. The criteria for this may differ per country, but since 1999 they must meet the International Competence Baseline (ICB) drawn up by IPMA. It describes 20 technical competencies, 15 behavioral competencies and 11 contextual competencies.

IPMA-C Certified Project Manager
IPMA-B Certified Senior Project Manager
IPMA-A Certified Projects Director

Certified persons can have themselves included in a register.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

BiSL

Business Information Services Library (BiSL), previously known as Business Information Service Management Library, is a framework used for information management.

BiSL is a public domain standard since 2005, governed by the ASL BiSL foundation (previously ASL Foundation). The framework describes a standard for processes within business information management at the strategy, management and operations level.[1] BiSL is closely related to the ITIL and ASL framework, yet the main difference between these frameworks is that ITIL and ASL focus on the supply side of information (the purpose of an IT organisation), whereas BiSL focuses on the demand side (arising from the end-user organisation).

ASL

The Application Services Library (ASL) is a public domain framework of best practices used to standardize processes within Application Management, the discipline of producing and maintaining information systems and applications.
The term "library" is used because ASL is presented as a set of books describing best practices from the IT industry.

ASL is closely related to the frameworks ITIL (for IT Service Management) and BiSL (for Information Management and Functional Management) and to the Capability Maturity Model (CMM).
